About Us

Initially formed as KJ Linton Heating specialist in 1989, the businesses activities quickly outgrow that of the company name. It was therefore decided upon to change the company name in 1995 to Linton Design Manufacture Construction or simply Linton DMC for short.

A local family firm to the Teesside area, we have delivered construction projects throughout the UK, as requested by locally based clients, though our core workload finds employees travelling within the North East and North Yorkshire regions. In 2000, we adopted the phrase ‘Whole Life Contractors’ as the ethos of the company.

The phrase derived from the continuity of work from clients and the continued building solutions required meeting their needs. As such, we are proud to be able to design, construct, maintain, refurbish, adapt and demolish properties if required.

Over the years as construction has changed and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) has adapted, so have we. We embrace new technologies in construction, as we constantly aim to achieve a better quality of building through efficient building techniques.

Our investment in achieving this is not merely time but financial as we are the only UK company to supply and erect with Rhodipor Ecobuild an insulated concrete formwork building product.

Employees are employed on a direct labour basis, for clients this means a familiar face on site or place of work and ensures that employees are aware of a client’s Health and safety needs as well as our own business.
